Now listen up my fellow Zoms, this article is not meant to send you into “full on Zombie mode” It’s quite possible we are wrong and if we’re not, it’s quite possible that everything will work out. Regardless, we feel it is our duty to keep our shambling comrades informed of certain things that are going down so they are not too surprised if it does happen. Continue reading

It was July 22, 2016. It was San Diego Comic Con. iZombie fans began to crawl out of their hibernation. iZombie Podcast even posted a new bonus episode after their own hiatus. It was a good day to be a Zom and all because it was iZombie’s turn at SDCC during their four day weekend.
SDCC is the nation’s biggest convention next to New York Comic Con and it’s the one where every celebrity shows up to. That included Team Z (except Robert Buckley). In the days preceding, our social media outlets were filled with pictures from the cast of them traveling (mostly by air) and even the news that poor Rahul (Ravi) missed his original flight due to oversleeping.
It was very obvious this year that our small little zombie show has gained quite a following. Having observed what was going on via Twitter, the cast was met with positivity and welcoming kindness. They started by appearing Thursday night at the MTV Fandom Awards, to a cheering crowd.
Get ready for a good one, Zoms! I sat down to chat with the actor behind one of my favorite season 2 characters: Andre Tricoteux. Andre plays Chief: Blaine’s silent bodyguard at Shady Plots (funeral home). Appearing for about a second in the first episode of season 2, his character shows up more and more as the episodes progress; as well as developing with each time we see him on screen.
Unfortunately, Chief (*SPOILER*) does meet a tragic end in season 2’s finale, but Andre was nice enough to chat with me about his time on iZombie.
It’s a great week to be a zombie! Well…an iZombie fan, at least! Even though we have to wait until midseason to get season three of our favorite show, season two is now available on both Blu Ray & DVD!
The other great news is that season 3 will start filming on July 25th! That’s just a little over a week away. We’ve already seen the actors tweeting pictures of each other in preparation, so you know we’re going to get some yummy behind-the-scenes shots along the way. Continue reading
One of the great things about the show iZombie, is its savvy knowledge of current pop culture. It lives in the now and gladly embraces the idea of fandoms Every week, we Zoms watch closely to catch all the little Easter Eggs perfectly placed for us. In this article, I thought it would be fun to list the top 5 (in my opinion) pop references mentioned in our “lighthearted” zombie show.
Up until now, the only way iZombie fans were getting a Pop doll for their favorite brain eating “psychic” was by scouring the internet for handmade figurines. And not to say these aren’t great – Etsy account “BigJcustoms” has made their own version of Liv; but it isn’t an official Funko product.
For those who don’t know, Funko is a toy company founded in 1998 that produces these ridiculously adorable Pop dolls that are incredibly addictive (I own more than I care to admit). They have dolls for anything and everything pop culture related ranging from shows such as Dr. Who, The Walking Dead, Supernatural to movies from Disney, DC, Marvel, etc.
So, it would only be reasonable that iZombie fans get their own. After all, the zombie themed show originated as a comic and is housed under DC Comics. And with the show now available on Netflix in both the US, UK, France, Germany, etc. the fandom is growing.
TC Stark: Heya! So, I’m back with the fifth installment of Whiter Shade of Pale, my Blaine centered AU story taking place after (*SPOILER*) Blaine gets his throat slit by Mr. Boss and turned back into a Zombie. If you didn’t read the previous chapter, it was full of NC-17 smut and needed a password to be accessed. We go back to PG/PG-13 for this chapter. If you like this, please retweet it on Twitter and let me #TC_Stark and #iZombieSupportGroup know!🙂
Attempting to remain calm, Lexi’s eyebrows furrowed inwards as she asked Blaine, “What do you mean, who am I?”
In the middle of buttoning up his shirt, Blaine looked around and explained, “I apologize if I don’t remember…did we drink last night? Um…I didn’t pay for anything, did I?”
“Are you really thinking you slept with a prostitute?” Hands on her hips, Lexi looked away momentarily before looking back, “Do you really not know who I am…?”
